Nordic working group for green growth – innovation and entrepreneurship
Grøn vækst i alle regioner – grøn innovation og entreprenørskab
The aim of the working group is to contribute to public policy development with a particular focus on innovation and entrepreneurship in the Nordic countries. The working group focuses on the regional policy dimension of potentials for green growth, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Different types of Nordic regions will be involved in the studies carried out within the framework of the working group.
The main tasks of the working group are:
- to present an overview of policy instruments and their importance, and to explore "good practice" case studies of national, regional and local governance to support innovation and entrepreneurship for green growth
- to examine factors that hinder and promote green growth
- to disseminate and discuss results with national, regional and local stakeholders in the Nordic countries
- to contribute to public policy development to support innovation and entrepreneurship for green growth at regional level in the Nordic countries
The working group has finalised two major projects so far:
Working programme 2015-2016
During 2015-2016 two more in-depth studies will be carried out within the framework of the working group. One about industrial symbiosis based on Nordic case studies. The final study still to be decided.
