Why Haven't We Solved Climate Change Yet?
Scientists first anticipated human -induced climate change more than 100 years ago. Pres. Johnson was briefed on climate change risk by scientists more than 50 years ago. And climate change has been part of the public discussion since 1988. And yet we are still on track for dangerous climate change. Why is that? While we may focus on a single answer based on our disciplinary backgrounds or interests, it is useful to understand the wide range of variables that are actually in play.
