“Concerning CRTs, we know that certain equipment containing CRTs such as oscilloscopes, which may still be used in hospitals or laboratories, may require repair or refurbishment. “We do not think that a uniform ban of cathode ray tubes (CRTs) is appropriate. CRTs are still used in some medical and broadcasting equipment for public purposes, and many of them are expensive and have a long product life. There is a need for repair for those CRTs.”
