What does cool mean to you?

To wear stylish clothes?

Spending time with a nice girlfriend/boyfriend?

Fiddling with a Mac at Starbucks?

Being extravagant or indulgent?

We at Greentech believe that it is cool to survive in a recycling society.

Greentech was born in Ueda, Shinshu, the birthplace of Yukimura Sanada who is the strongest samurai in Japan, the land of samurai.

It is cool.

It was cool for the samurai to survive the war.

Our battlefield is to survive in sustainable society where SDGs have been realized.

We want to be and we will be strong like the samurai.

We are a technical group specializing in fiber and textile engineering.

Can't fiber make us strong?

No, fiber can be made strong by twisting it.

Is it possible to become strong only by twisting?

No, it becomes stronger by weaving it into textile.

Textile is a sword of science for us, as it is easy to make and process, has many kinds of materials that can be used, and can be given many functions.

So, what is our sword made of? It is made of paper.

Paper is a synonym for weakness, but for us it is a symbol of strength.

Of course, it's not just any paper, it's Japanese paper.

It is, in a sense, samurai paper.

We chose cedar for the cellulose used in paper because cedar pollen is an allergen that afflicts 25% of Japanese people.

Of course, we can't survive in a recycling-oriented society just by continuing to cut down cedar trees.

Part of our profits will be used to plant other trees to replace the cedar.

Greentech supports the earth through consumption.
