1. Set up my priority about my reasoning on “Why Green Tech” as Room1.
Keywords: SDGs, Materials (Fiber), Internationality
SDGs is an important issue recently, especially in manufacturing companies.
In these SDGs, it will be possible in the form of Green Tech to utilize our expertise in textiles and materials. Naturally, SDGs are not limited to those in Japan, but are common issues throughout the world. Not only Japanese but also international students from China, Mongolia, Thailand, Pakistan and Morocco participate in the leading program. I believe that this internationality can play an important role in addressing this global challenge.

2. How to make brand design about products by Green tech!
① Design brand as Eco (Green Tech)
In Germany, there is an additive-free organic product called “Bio”, which is produced from 100 % organic raw materials without using any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. In 2001, an environmental measure was set up, and a system that included the production, distribution, sales, and quality control of organic farming was completed. Sales are steadily increasing with the backdrop of environmental awareness and against BSE. Originally, Bio had the image of high price and high quality, but recently it has expanded to supermarkets in the low and medium price range. With reference to this case, it can be expected that it will be positioned as a high-priced rage by pushing out the fact that it is environmentally conscious as an added value. I think it is necessary to establish an eco-friendly brand.

② Brand as Shinshu University and Faculty of Textiles
To get budget from government or local government, the name of Shinshu University and faculty of textiles is one of the most important elements. At least, in Nagano prefecture, our University name plays the role as brand.

3. What kind of product (or materials, or ideas) do we make!
- In case that in mind to make products like eco-bag
Natural fiber material
If non-woven fabric is produced by electrospinning, it is likely to be difficult except for cellulose. (Cellulose can already be mass-produced. Maybe Prof. Kim is specialized. Sana Ullah knows details??)
In addition, there is a big problem in terms of cost. It could be possible to develop some materials or new products from scraps and waste materials of natural fiber materials. (like silk sericin. In the past, sericin produced during degumming was discarded, but in recent years, its moisturizing properties or etc. are focused and it is used in cosmetics and research is also underway actively.)

Recycled fiber material
There are tow types of recycled fiber material, plant based fibers such as rayon and cupra, and chemical fibers such as recycled polyester. Many companies are already working on it in this field, and I think that intervention to this marketing requires new high uniqueness.

- Thinking selling materials is better than selling products
Development of materials
Develop of recycle from natural fiber
In our campus, silk reuse using PaperLab by EPSON are studied in collaboration each other. (PaperLab can make new paper from used paper in an office-level space.) Is it may be possible to recycle used plastic bags at the office or home?

4. How to boost to sell or inform customer (marketing)!
Selling for customer in Nagano
The fact that the products or materials are made by doctoral student majoring in textiles at Shinshu University themselves, becomes a shinshu brand and can be expected as and advertising effect. In addition, there is a good possibility that is will be transmitted on TV such as TV Shinshu or Ueda Cable TV and Shinano Mainichi newspaper. IF we can get somebody influencers, it could be boost more.

Selling for customer in Japan
Only the fact that the products or materials are made by doctoral student majoring in textiles affects very small. I think that we have many tasks such as getting influencers. It seems more realistic to expand from local.
