Lorene Nelson
Dr. Lorene Nelson is an epidemiologist and biostatistician who is the Associate Director of the Stanford Center for Population Health Sciences. She is leading strategic initiatives that involve the growing number of population health scientists at Stanford, with the goal of developing innovative and transdisciplinary approaches to address the critical challenges in improving population health.

As a faculty member in the Division of Epidemiology at Stanford School of Medicine, Lorene's research program is focused on the epidemiology and complex etiology of neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and multiple sclerosis.
