There is quite a discrepancy between the tools currently available for collaboration, conversation management, and what exists at the stage of research or level of sophistication that requires significant resources or learning curve >>> The ideal tools are not ready
Because we will not yet have an alpha to hand out and run, we need to proceed to some form of meta-curation and social/experience design with a support development and UI UX architects team to really conceive and embed a technical solution with the engagement and dialog dynamics, and closely work with the dialog teams.
Start with very simple existing tools and move towards more complex tools.
For example linked data and semantic web: start with hybrid solutions to start building natural connections?
Knowledge base.
Could Netention already 'pull' stuff, info & people in relation to our theme? How could netention be put to work?
Alternative premices of semantic web? Linked data? Google Graph? DBpedia? How could we constitute databases and dashboards to feed and to be fed by the discussions.
Using the ideas developed for the commons memes map to navigate among possibilities.
Creating personal learning & discovery briefcase/dashboard from the data?
Create an extended network.
How to use existing social networks to invite people in? Other alternatives?
How to use existing social networks to refer potential stakeholders and impacters, people instrumental to forward the awareness and implementation? Other alternatives?
How to create the 'double graph' of followers/stakeholders?
What 'shape' does the 'citizenship' / 'actor' membership take? Members hosted in a database (i.e. locked in a container)? or link/connection protocol? How can people 'hook' onto each other and to particular subjects they want to follow?
How do we engage people? Draw them into the conversations? Gaming?

We need some form of 'productive' conversation tool that would enable to build things 'as we speak' or a posteriori, 'manually' through drag and drop or through queries, where you could send packets and pieces of conversations to various other tools: - IBIS - debate module
