PART 1
-- DRAFT –
REPORT ON THE STW FORUM DISCUSSION ON THE UN SECRETARY GENERAL’S CALL FOR ‘REVOLUTIONARY THINKING AND ACTION TO ENSURE AN ECONOMIC MODEL FOR SURVIVAL’.
Note: this is a rough DRAFT of a 'STW UN REPORT' on the LinkedIN 'SystemsThinking World' discussion on the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon's call for 'revolutionary thinking and action to ensure an economic model for survival' at the WEF 2011 meeting in Davos, started and expertly moderated by Helene Finidori. Discussion participants are invited to edit these drafts, adding or deleting material, correcting mistakes or awkward or inappropriate wording.
The material is largely cobbled together from previous material and will have some repetition, personal bias, while missing newer information from the discussion, thus very much needing attentive editing. The drafts will be posted here section by section, starting with the proposed tentative table of contents, below. 'Empty' headings are calls for suggestions (e.g. 'title … ' below). Draft corresponding maps for some sections are included ; the google.docs instructions note a 2000 pixel limitation for graphics, so I don't know how legible they will be. (The maps may need to be broken up into smaller parts for legibility)
