The UN Security Council should pass a resolution calling on members of the Quartet—UN, represented by the Secretary-General, U.S., EU, and Russia—to work closely with regional partners—the Arab League, Arab countries and Turkey—to implement an initiative aimed at achieving a comprehensive Arab-Israeli settlement based on UN Security Council Resolutions 242 (1967) and 338 (1973), the 2002 Arab League Beirut Initiative and the 2003 Roadmap. |
