Many academic contributions and policy reviews criticise the actual structure of EPR schemes and state that EPR incentives for DfE are currently (too) weak (Lindhqvist and Lifset 2003, Sachs 2006, Gottberg et al. 2006, Roine and Lee 2006, Walls 2006, Rotter 2011, Gui et al. 2013, Tong and Yan 2013)."
