Early Intervention Foundation

Early Intervention Foundation (EIF) [1] is an independent charity and one of the government’s ‘What Works Centres’, that champion and support the use of effective early intervention for children. The Foundation’s work involves identifying children and families that may be at risk of running into difficulties and providing timely and effective support. It assesses the evidence of what works in early intervention for impact and relative cost, advises local authorities, charities and investors on the implementation of early intervention on the ground, and advocates for investment in effective early intervention to local and national policymakers [2].
