April Green @F4H2014
April Green shares how the smallest acts of giving make the largest difference in this talk at the Franchise for Humanity at Stanford University, California on Feb 21, 2014.

When you open up your heart, you don't realize what it can do for other people. April (in spite of severe laryngitis!) shares the mission and work of two organizations: Giving in America and the Launch Pad.

Giving is not about 'How Big?' but about 'How Small?'
The smallest acts of giving can make the biggest difference.
It's not about money - it's about kind acts, gestures. Being in a room and asking 'Hi, how are you?' Giving is celebrated at http://givinginamerica.org/home.html

Kenneth Hill founder of 'The Launch Pad' is buying buildings that have been boarded up for years and fixing them up for people that have been living in homeless shelters, giving them a place to live in rent-free for one year, along with a support system.
