Philosophy is the love of wisdom, poetry the love of words, but they are both the love of truth. How do they influence each other? Where do they differ and overlap? The discussion group aims to explore the interplay of insight and delight, abstraction and articulation, aesthetics and poetics.
Participants who wish to speak will read a poem (can be their own) and present a 5-7 mins monologue on their meditation of the topic from any angle they like. Participants who do not wish to present a monologue are welcome to ask questions and join in for the free flow discussion. |
