Bosons, the Force Mediators
Particles carrying fundamental interactions between particles of matter, often called “force mediators”. The electromagnetic force is transferred between two charged particles through the exchange of photons, resulting in the attraction or repulsion of the two entities, depending on their respective electric charges. Mediators of the weak force are the Z and W bosons, mediators of the strong force are gluons. Bosons are not subject to the same "exclusion principle" as fermions.
