Steve Guillouzic
Steve is an operational research analyst with Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC).

  • Steve joined DRDC in 2002 after obtaining a Ph.D. in physics and working as a postdoctoral fellow in biophysics. Since joining the organization, he has applied his knowledge in the modelling and simulation of stochastic systems to a variety of application areas, such as maritime surveillance, fleet mix and schedule risk analysis.
  • Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to support various parts of the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces, including several years as a team leader.
  • He has also been involved in DRDC’s COVID-19 analysis work, notably by contributing to the development of a decision support tool to inform the quarantining and testing required to mitigate the likelihood of having undetected infections in groups.
