My central research questions are:
- How the spatio-temporal variation of biotic interactions contribute to the spatial distribution of ecosystem properties
- How to integrate the variability of interactions in the approach to conservation and management (namely risk of infection)
- How to integrate different domains of ecology to develop numerical methods which can allow the prediction of the structure of interactions between species, knowing that empirical observations are hard/expensive/rare
