Valerie Landau is Director of Assessment at Samuel Merritt University. Her work is at the crossroads of technology and education.

She is currently designing a methodology and tool facilitating faculty engagement in the assessment of teaching and learning through data visualization and sonification of data. She has over 20 years of experience teaching and designing solutions for educational effectiveness

She received a MA in Education and a C.A.S in Human Development and Psychology with an emphasis in Technology in Education from the HarvardUniversity Graduate School of Education where she focused on educational game design.
