Rob is a neuroscientist, e-learning designer and architect of virtual open source and open content collaborations. His collaborations include the Harvey Project, an international collaboratory to build free learning objects for physiology; OpenCourse.Org, a foundry for opencourseware; the Education Community at java.net, Sun Microsystems' foundry foropen source educational software and courseware; and The Tech Virtual, an opensource, rapid prototyping community at The Tech Museum in San Jose.
Rob is one of the organizers of Program forthe Future, a collaboration to carry forward the work of Douglas Engelbart.
