A Presidential Memorandum on Engaging in Public Health Research on the Causes and Prevention of Gun Violence was released on 16 January 2013.
The first steps will be to:
- identify the most pressing research questions with the greatest potential public health impact; and
- assess existing public health interventions being implemented across the Nation to prevent gun violence.
