4 Also parents may want their child to experience good education or may want their kid to take certain classes because they might not be able to provide teaching their kids what parents want their kids to learn. Some parents aren't able to teach their kids due to the language barrier. Mostly this affects hispanics and asians.  Among the findings of the  National Center for Education Statistics entitled, “Public School Graduates and Dropouts from the Common Core of Data: School Year 2007-08: In the report, Georgia’s average graduation rate was 65.4 percent. Their lowest rate was among Hispanic students at 55.4 percent.  In 2007-2008, Georgia had 20,135 dropouts.  Now a retention rate says that about  3/4 of the students today are earning high-school diplomas.
