Efforts to increase popularity focus on talent developement
MLB has made tremendous efforts to develope rich talent pools in Latin American countries in order to provide a better service to their fans. In MLB, talent is the commodity. If teams don't offer high-end talent, fans will go elsewhere. No one pays to see a bad show.
