What We Believe

At ZL Studios we believe that SOPA is more of a bad idea than a good idea. It is against the first amendment since it is basically censoring the Internet. It also will really take down an entire industry just to benefit another industry just a little bit. Instead of trying to block piracy online I think the entertainment industry should make it easier to get content online. Services like Netflix, and Spotify are great examples of this, they allow people to subscribe very cheaply and get access to media. Those services are very easy and convenient just like piracy and they are also very cheap. And if the entertainment industry does that kind of service right they might make more money than they ever have before.
