Decisions and business practices, especially in a market driven context, should lean away from monopolistic agendas.
This relates to "smaller and fewer is better", "keep fluid", and some others.
Some services are inherently monopolistic, and some give huge advantages to the first mover or biggest mover. It's expensive to try to keep it broken up.
