Many students learn information, but do not retain it. With the Pledge of Allegiance being said everyday in schools, every student could recite this instantly. This shows that students are learning from this pledge. The allegiance itself has many American values in it. By children saying it everyday, they are learning these values that they should hold on to. That is what this nation is built on...teaching the generations the ideals of American history and culture. |
