The name itself says it all. It is our country's pledge to allegiance. Schools teach so much about our country and what it is all about so why shouldn't school instill these values into children on a daily basis. This is the most patriotic thing a child can understand that everyday they are pledging themselves to our country. We celebrate so many holidays that support our country and all it has done so why can't we say a daily pledge to show our support. Everyone is excited to take a day off work or school for these holidays, so why can't we support our nation daily. |
