Never before in the history of humanity has there been such as a velocity regarding changes and technology innovation as experienced at present. This innovation takes mankind to the top of a tower that is both very high and very weak.

This science fiction technology, that virtually erased in full the boundaries between private and public matters, is even wider in new socialization patterns established in platforms as well as in business models based on network economies.

In such a complex global backdrop, any deliberate human action, either to outline public policies or to design new business models, requires to think of a new set of scientific, holistic and innovative tools.

For ITBA, no technology can be conceived other than taking into account the capacity to serve mankind and the environment in a respectful and smooth relationship. Individual solutions and revolutionary ideas are necessary but not sufficient. The actual chance to impact on change derives from the systemic synergies created in a community.

  • The PhD Program in Leadership and Systemic Innovation turns to contemporary discoveries of the sciences of complexity, computing and life, as well as to transcendental aspects of mankind providing both leaders and designers of systemic innovation a sense of integrity and ethical purpose.
  • It is a high academic level program, second to none in Argentina and Latin America, supported by similar experiences in the United States, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Norway, India and Australia. The curriculum is based on state-of-the-art methods, such as disruptive innovation, collective intelligence, systemic sciences, biomimetics, design thinking and business experimentation.
  • This program is intended to train leaders to guide innovation based on a systemic vision, capable of developing solutions arising from collective intelligence, based on new research methods comprising both technological creativity and the triple impact: social, environmental and economic.
  • This program is intended for professionals engaged in activities in the field of sciences, such as researchers or research, development and innovation department heads, and university educators. It is addressed as well to officers performing duties in the different practical domains of innovation and opinion leaders in technology policies, who are in charge of establishing both regulatory and monetary incentives to encourage systemic innovation.
