Master data considered the mind or foundation in implicit order and matter derived from the point in time of a transaction explicit order. 

Years go by, a new technology is introduced to fix the last and this one turns out worse than last and even more complexity is introduced as both former systems are still operating in the background, with only partial functionality.  Trying to retire one will break all the connections to both.  You, see no one has the full technology landscape and even further complicated when we created a data practice beyond the application and typical technology architecture. 

We failed to realize, data is the lowest form a human can interpret value from any technology and physical process.  If we prescribe to David Brohm's ideals that our world is a process with explicit and implicate order having to be very carefully segmented and designed in order to maintain its objectivity. 

In the words of F. David Peat, Bohm considers that what we take for reality are "surface phenomena, explicate forms that have temporarily unfolded out of an underlying implicate order". That is, the implicate order is the ground from which reality emerges.^[3]
