Is it true that "science tells us the truth"?
[Wikipedia] Science (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.

There is a reason to challenge the notion that science tells us the truth. Science is a system, a process; there is no guarantee that truth will emerge from the application. Further, testable explanations and predictions are interpretations of observation.  My suggestion is simply this: as a hermes.coi framework emerges, truth is only part of that framework; truth is a destination; hermes.coi is a community on a truth-seeking journey.

My argument is simply this: science offers a means by which truth is determined.

That argument could be extended into the space in which truth, itself, must be defined.

Procedural note:

I used a Con node since the template in this map does not allow for questions, but wish to introduce the argument by way of a question. I would argue that the template in this map should allow for questions.
