Governance

The Alliance

Government, industry and community working together to create a leading sustainable city through education and innovation.

The Stirling Alliance is a collaborative partnership between the community, government agencies and key stakeholders, dedicated to achieving ‘best for community’ outcomes.

The Stirling City Centre Alliance will:

  • Collaborate with the community
  • Innovate
  • Share innovations with other initiatives
  • Strengthen sense of place
  • Develop strategies that deliver local jobs
  • Provide for affordable housing
  • Encourage public transport
  • Nurture the environment

In July 2008 an Alliance Agreement was signed by the City of Stirling, Western Australian Planning Commission, Public Transport Authority and Main Roads Western Australia. The Stirling City Centre Alliance has been established to bring together and enable the implementation of a shared vision for Stirling City Centre.
