Socioeconomic status is a better indicator of poverty

The problem with most economists is they treat the economicsas a hard science and it is not.  The economy does not live in a bubbleand is influenced by society’s class structure. Those with more resources have more “Human Capital”.  Socioeconomic status of a person’s parents isa much better indicator if someone will be poor.  That being said exceptional circumstances canlead many into poverty.
