Stricter punishment will lower child sex abuse
Although the statistics are outdated they do prove that the current punishment is not effective. Putting aside that the statistics are outdated the numbers may not vary because since the 1990's the punishment has had little to no change. The statistics I presented in my inherency prove that many of the abusers often return to their harmful ways thus If they had previously been in jail for child sex abuse there was a high percent of chance that they would do it again.
