The Founding Fathers established it and we should keep the tradition.
The Founding Fathers are men that are still looked up to even in our day. They established the Pledge of Allegiance and wanted to show appreciation for our nation. They were Protestant men who at their time were very influenced by religion. Being that religion was popular back then, why should we not be able to say this pledge because people have different views. Many people throughout history have had different views and beliefs but we should stop saying one of the oldest traditions in our history because some people don't agree with it. They just don't have to say it if they don't agree with it, but everyone shouldn't be punished.
