This vision is based on the great potential for the expansion of the existing WBR and the additional benefits an expanded biosphere can achieve.
The creation of an expanded conservation area will not only contribute towards the retention of the Waterberg’s largely unspoilt character, but will also create opportunities for economic stimulation through sustainable development practices, which in turn will contribute to an improved quality of life for residents of the area.
