- Her 2019 undergraduate research thesis, which investigated the impact of a policy change in primary education on childcare costs and female labour force participation, was selected for presentation at the World Bank-funded South Asian Economics Students’ Meet 2019. Currently, she is a Research Assistant to Dr. Maggie Jones. In this role, she performs background research on the literature and data sources for evaluating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education in Canada.
- As an experienced Teaching Assistant, she has been awarded certificates of excellence for professional development in teaching and learning in higher education by the University of Victoria. Her work as the Teaching Assistant Consultant (TAC) in the Department of Economics at the University of Victoria is focused on providing peer mentorship to Teaching Assistants and developing workshops on the best practices in teaching and learning. In addition to her academic work, she was previously a Policy Analyst with the Federal Government, studying various projects and programs undertaken by Canada’s Innovation Superclusters.
