Somewhat ispired by Marina Abramovic's performance "The Artist is Present", the PolyScopy timeline will infuse and reflect an entirely different way of being a scientist – namely by being present in the public sphere, interacting, facilitating understanding, igniting change. One of the images is of the scientist as public servant, paid by the public to think freely, and give fresh new ideas, insights, actions... in return – and perhaps even a whole fresh new way of being, as it might be called for by our condition.
