Alogrithms are fixed interpretations
Humans can use conscious observation to step outside of an interpretation and think of alternatives and extensions. Algorithms, however, are inherently fixed interpretations. Thus no algorithmic account of the mind could ever be sufficient.
An algorithmic interpretation of the mind could never account for interpretative flexibility of conscious observation.
