Data in the form of bits and bytes, has a different audience and would be less bound to following common sense judgement. Data people are in violent opposition with the stakeholders who are process owners.

Data technology and the way data is manipulated is in conflict with key control and control owners are not involved in the conversations. 

If you call something data, it's non-important to business users, as data is not an output of a process.  

Each of the before shown technology types has a data format in all three cloud services.  Data is the technical form associated with everything.  

Born digital or born analog-both represent data types derived from anything. 

Structured Data = Information, Content and Knowledge 

Each of the above technology types requires one or more of the structured data outcomes

Example; a record begins as an application document or digital form.

A record in the traditional sense was always a physical form with handwritten or typed inputs

The change from document to record occurs when a process is performed by a person other than the one whose supplied inputs.
