Απόσπασμα-
Another source I found through research also attempts to define morality, and I found this essential to my claim. In their piece, Morality without Religion, Marc Hauser and Peter Singer use logic to disclaim God as a credible guiding source of morality on Earth. Their claim states that God cannot be purely good if he created forces of evil in our world. They state that God gave us the power of choice, and in doing so must have realized that humans would have the capability of making good decisions or potentially evil ones, and interpret this as the message from gospel that we humans have to make our own sense of morality. My aim was that religious people would not take this as a slight against God, I was merely pointing to facts from their own beliefs that support my claim. I also hoped to gain credibility with the audience of non religious people that could potentially rally to my cause. I understood that most people in society want to consider themselves moral people, and that they would orient to anything that makes them feel that way, that is what made me choose this information in my argument.
