Here are some of the ideas that marked BCN2011 that can be highlighted?
- Paddy Coulter as Workshop Chair. In co-creating good journalism we must make sure that the essential memes are preserved and revitalized. Helse we give 'the reigns' to Paddy, who represented the good journalism tradition for us.
- Begin with a social day. As in chemistry, some social processes happen under pressure, others need relaxed time and ambients. Use local catalysts (BCN Museum of Inventions?, the good dining place) to foster the right mood and atmosphere.
- Written materials exchanged in advance. Very short presentations ('Kucha') are combined with World Cafe dialogues for putting ideas together.
