Luke may have been far more inexperienced than any other jedi, but he has his fathers blood, who is believed to be "The Chosen One". Not only does Luke have the potential to be a powerful ?Jedi like his father, he shows early signs of this in the Original Trilogy. He, being the last jedi believed to be alive, single handedly took down the Emperor.
