The Original Star Wars was very unique for its time.
Star Wars in the late 70s till the early 80s was very unique for its time. No other movies had anywhere near the same theme or story. There were barely any space movies at all. Where as the Prequel trilogy came out when space movies were in abundance by the time they were released.
