Building the Community of Compression Thinkers
Many of the Compression Thinkers who could not fit the Austin Forum into their schedule, wanted to contribute to the discussion. This map reflects the ideas they raised during a pre-Austin conference call on the problems and challenges facing Compression.

The following are issues that we would like your personal contributions. Please feel free to reframe the issues and offer solutions or concerns.

1. Are the concepts in Compression viable as a movement starter today? Can everyone articulate some main points in their own words? Must it be shored up? Should it be broken into stages for easier consumption and "conversion?" What's easy to understand? What are the toughest nuts that spill out? Etc.

2. Depending on what comes out of that discussion, can change agents start to run with it? If so, how? If not, would some changes or additions make that easier? (Simple examples; more cases; business model templates; "hands on" material; references and colleagues to look to, etc.) Can we ignite ongoing interest group discussion? Develop leaders willing to risk such major change?

3. Depending on the outcome of 1 and 2, can we form "change agent" groups to start momentum and keep it going?

If you can't participate please send your contribution or any suggestions to JohnWard [AT] Compression.org

Thank you for your support of Compression.
