RoboBraille
RoboBraille seeks to solve a universal problem – making otherwise inaccessible electronic documents accessible to people with visual or reading impairments.
The RoboBraille service is an email-service capable of translating documents to and from contracted Braille and to synthetic speech. It is available free of charge to all non-commercial users. It has been running in Denmark since 2004.

From 2006-2007 an eTEN RoboBraille market validation project was conducted in Cyprus, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom with financial support from the European Commission.
