On the other hand, ideas truly novel to this milieu come from outside it. So human learning has to include curiosity about the unknown, going outside the trends of the "inside herd."Â

We probably will make little headway developing vigorous learning without coming to grips with what we humans really are biologically and psychologically. We have to compensate for our own weaknesses. If we could do that, the other challenges of Compression might not seem so impossible to overcome.
