Innovation
Defined here, an innovation employs concepts not used before, or used in a radically different way. A new business model can be as innovative as a new technology. To deal with Compression, we need rapid innovation, accelerated by rapid refinement, involving many people to make innovation routine.
Very few radically different innovations come from zilch, like a different phenomenon of physics, not known before. Most are new ways to combine or apply prior knowledge. The outcome is innovation for humans, who do something differently as a result, a social game changer. (A new musical genre is an artistic version of innovation.)
