Spot the difference between this diagram and any similar *medical* diagram you've ever seen (apart from its amateur quality!). The answer is they lack consciousness as a part. All of medicine starts from the premise that we are meat robots (according to its diagrams).
The question then becomes not "What effect will this medical intervention have on the body (or body part) of my patient?" but "What effect will this medical intervention have on the body (or body part) AND consciousness of my patient?"
We see immediately that this effects all hospital environments, procedures and, indeed, all medical care, inside and outside a hospital.
By accident, Western medicine does have a group of medical personnel who are attuned to consciousness care. These are nurses. A new model of medical care would seek to bring out the wisdom of these personnel.
There are doctors who are thinking about consciousness care already. One example is http://ccare.stanford.edu, although right now it's not positioned like that. A sense of compassion is obviously part of consciousness and we can measure its level.
A general term for consciousness care that is sometimes used in the medical system to refer to doctors is "bedside manner" but this only hints at what consciousness care could be. See Example 2.
