Centre for Longitudinal Studies
The Centre for Longitudinal Studies (CLS) [1] is an Economic and Social Research Council resource centre, which is responsible for running four of Britain’s internationally-renowned cohort studies (‘following the same group of people throughout their lives, charting social change and untangling the reasons behind it’): the 1958 National Child Development Study, the 1970 British Cohort Study, the Millennium Cohort Study, and Next Steps (previously known as Longitudinal Study of Young People in England) [2]
