Several qualities I hope for in conversational software:
1. That the past does not get lost so quickly but remains almost as present at sign-in as the recent thoughts.
2. That the software does not further early lock-in of the key idea being discussed.
3. That the software does not favor jazzy cynical nasty responses over longer more thoughtful and civil responses.
And I hope that we pay attention to content (what is being discussed) as much as the attention to the platform.
