PayScale.com also did a survey on the best college bachelor's degrees according to salary in 2009 and included 75 different bachelor's degrees. Employees who took the survey were graduates from U.S. schools, full-time employees in the U.S. and possessed just a bachelor's degree.

The starting employees had five years of experience or less in their career; the median age for starting employees was 25 years old with two years of work experience. Mid-career employees had ten years of experience or more, with the median age being 42 years old and 15 years of experience. The top 25 degrees and median salaries are listed below.
