| Cecilia Opinion1 #14723 The ending of this novel is ironic becuase at the end, it sounds optimistic, but the fact is, Kien is still dwelling in his past and he is unable to let go of his memories and move on. All of his memories are like ghosts that haunt him from time to time which makes him feel more sorrow. |
